After, most likely, spending way too much time on Pinterest, I came across a pin for this helpful article from Improve Photography. I think it has some great tips on photography and improving your skills.

A Day Made of Glass
It's amazing to look and see how technologies and innovations build upon one another. Check out this video by Corning that shows their vision of the future, built around their specialty glass surfaces. Incredible!

Evernote
At the Creative Media Guild for Campus Crusade held in Orlando last year, I was introduced to the multi-platform note taking application EVERNOTE by some of the other creatives attending. I've found it to be a spectacular program for note taking and have been using it since. I was drawn to the notion of capturing ideas at the moment they occur (mainly because I so often forget the thoughts I've thought or brain children I conceived unless I record them in some way). I particularly like that I can use the application off-line and then sync when online and keep my notes across various devices. I also really like the evernote web tool that captures whole web pages or pictures and text portions from web sites and saves them in your notebooks. I used it alone as my research notebook when I was working on a purchase proposal for the Canon T3i that our Media Team wanted to procure for HD filming and photography. It organized and streamlined my process... AND we were granted the permission to purchase the T3i!

So, a co-worker of mine recently introduced to me the web site Pinterest. I've quickly grown to like it as I enjoy collecting thoughts and ideas (especially visually). Beyond using pinterest as a new hobby or time-waster, I have aspirations of using it for different design projects that our Creative Media Team could embark on. Since you can set up and share pin boards, it seems like it could be a useful virtual collaboration environment for creatives. Thanks Jamie!
